Im working on an eye twitch rig to help animators with the random twitchiness of the human eye. I have developed a rough idea of how I can control this in my face rigs in Maya, however Im having some difficulties trying to replicated how my Mel expression works in Motion builder. Im using Motion builder 7.5 extension 2.
Regarding expressions in Motion Builder; is it possible to write a python expression that is evaluated every frame?
Im currently playing with relation Constraints; is it possible to store numbers from a relation constraints output? I mean, say at a defined time (as in, a time as defined by a 1 value from the output from a Pulse node that triggers an action) can I get and store the X and Z values from a cubes translation and then set another cube to use these values, without the second cube always tracking the first cube because it is wired to it? I have tried using a Triggered Delay (number) node but it doesnt do what I expect, as in, keep a number until its delay value has lapsed (?).
Basically, Id like cube2 to track the movements of cube1 but 1 or 2 seconds later. Do you know any way I can do this? Either in a relation constraint or using an expression?
I had a quick look at the expression constraint in Motion Builder and I have no idea how it works. None, nada, zero.
So any help with this problem would be mucho useful.
