Extrude not working properly

I have a project scene file that I have been working on for a few days. Now when I try to extrude, it will not follow the path curve. When I open a new scene the extrude tool works fine. It only acts up when using my saved project file. I am wondering if the file is bad somehow. It was saved with MB. If the file is bad, is there anyway to save the scene file? How did it go bad on me? Do I need a patch perhaps?

Try rebuilding the curve.. your scene file is not corrupted.. you do not need a patch.

Make sure your extrude settings are set to Tube,At path,Component and profile Normal.

Everything is set just as you said, but my extrude will still not follow a curve in this project scene. The extrude just goes from the starting EP point to the end EP point in a straight line. (Strange) I only seem to have this problem with this one project sceen, in a new scene the extrude works properly. It's not that I mind it so much here, it's just that I would hate to lose a months work on a large project in the future. That is why I am trying to figure it out for future projects. It acts like a bad file.

What output do you have the extrude set to nurbs or polys? If you do nto have enough divisions set for polys it will do that.

It is set for NURBS. Like I said, it works fine for any other Project scene file. This one Project scene file is the problem. The Extrude settings do not change when testing it both ways. The scene file is corrupt, or I accidently hit a marker button that changed something about the scene that I can not see. I am still in training, so this could happen. I accidently open the marker sometimes when working. As I said, when I extrude the tube goes from the first EP point to the last and makes a straight tube. It does not follow the EP curve. The component CVs do follow the EP curve, but not the tube surface. Moving CVs does not change tube surface. It acts like the CVs have no affect on Extrude tube. Thats why I think the file is corrupt.

I found the problem by accident. For some reason my software is creating nurb extrudions in the default key board number 1 (resolution). If I make the extrudion and then press 3 on my keyboard it works fine. I may need to reload my software, but at least I know now it's me or the software and not the scene file.
