Hi guys, am working on a project right now where i've made a character which i am rigging with the awesome TSM2 rigging plugin (anzovin studios), but am also using mocap from motion builder and need a bit of help linking them up!
I have obviously the TSM rig controllers and skeleton, but the info from motion builder will be put onto an identically scaled FBIK skeleton i have made in maya. Then i'll constrain the rig controls to this FBIK skeleton with various parenting constraint options etc, but then i have been told i will need to "Bake" the movements from this skeleton onto the rig controls so it becomes key-frame info.
The problem is, i have never used baking before so i could use some advice on how it actually works and what to do haha! Totally clueless and have tried searching for tutorials but there seem to be a lot of different baking options in maya for totally different things so i'm a little confused, it all sounds a bit "cant cook wont cook" for me at the moment, would appreciate some help getting the baking commenced!
Cheers guys,
Tom
