I'm currently working with a team of four others on a simple flying game.
We are having trouble getting character animation data out of Maya and into XNA ( Animation Component Library ) without the rig being horribly distorted. Its a 50 joint character with skinning information.

We are using the latest FBX plugin for Maya8.5.
We are leaving the FBX export settings to there defaults although we have tried baking out the animation.
The FBX imports back into Maya without any problems, FBX exporter gives no error messages except the usual tangents on animation curves being different.
We have considered that scaling might be a problem and have played with the scaling settings in the exporter. We have also played with scaling each joint of the character in maya.
Any ideas?
