Hi, i am a big user of shake but not scripter at all

i need to use some noise or random expression but i don't know how to write that, i use the mel script way (it worked for me sometimes) but i probably miss something

i tryed
rand(1,2.5)

if anyone can tell me the way to write that, i don't understand anything in the doc for that.

I dont know if thats what you want to know, but here is some simple expression in shake

if you want to random over time

rnd(time)

or

noise(time)

Thanks, yes that's near that what i want.

In fact i want to tell the noise or random to be between some value.

For exemple, doing a random all the time but between 0.2 and 0.6, never up or down these values.

It works well, i did by that way to, i was just wondering if there where an other way more like in mel script where you can specify the min and max.
But anyway, it works.
