I am a little confused here:
I am rendering out a QT animation file and all I have done is add an alpha channel that is the key.
The original file is 998MB and after it is rendered it is only 97.5 MB but the same length in time (00:00:36:14). Examining the properties of the files they are both the same (pixels, codec, codec depth, codec resolution). The only thing that is different is that the data rate is a 10th of the original. Visually I am unable to view see difference between the two file when comparing them with the a/b comparision tool.
render settings are:
QT Animation (best depth, Best quality, 25fps, keyframe not set).
Quality: Best.
Frame Size: Full
Depth: 8bit
?dont understand? anyone out there shed some light on this.
thx
