Filipbook Render With Skipping Frames

hi,

I just started Shake learning and it's my first question. I want to render preview with Flipbook. I have a 20 second animation and increment parameter is set to 2. I want to render 20 s. animation with classic animation effect where each frame can be seen every 2 frames. When I render Flipbook incremental parameter is omited and it's rendered without skipping frames. How do it?

Just work at 12fps if your end result is 24fps or 15fps if your end result is television 30fps. It will play just fine inside the flipbook at 12/15fps. You only need to double up the frames on delivery in your editing software.

Previously they doubled up their frames because the playback machine(vcr, film projector) couldn't play back at a variable rate.

i agree, setting the globals to 12fps and working at that speed has a lot of advantages (like reduced render times and disk use).
if for some reasons you really need to have 2 frames of each image, using a simple timeX should get you there.
