Final gather problems

I recently setup a new computer with a Nvidia 6800gt card and 2 gigs of ram. My issue is that I cannot render using Final Gather I receive this error in my script editor:

I had no problem with my old computer using an Oxygen VX1.
I tried reinstalling Maya 6 but I keep having the same issue.
I also tried increasing my virtual memory but still the same problem.
Any information on fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Graphics card has no impact on this! Fg isnt calculated by it pure prcessor stuff. the only thing graphics card may imnpact is the frembiffer and then only if its set to opengl. And frankly your card may not be realy optimal for that.

Look for problem somewhare else!
