I went to grab the turbulant flame example to alter real quick for something I needed fast and it just doesn't work right anymore. I render it and its all segmented or it doesn't come up at all. I've used it before and its been fine, this is the first fluid example I've loaded from 6.5 , I then loaded another flame and same thing. Did something change between 6 and 6.5 that would break these examples or is it just on my end? Anyone know anything let me know
I'm using 6.5 on mac. I just started a new scene imported from visor turbulentFlame.ma and the flame.ma and rendered them. they both looked fine. so it works on the mac version. I can send you the file if you don't have it anymore, or think it might be something corrupt on your system.
Yea I can't figure it out, its rendering out really really segmented.
Can you post what it looks like, maybe it's just a setting that's jacked or something.

Yea, I can post it somewhere haha my website kinda expired...the werid thing is the explosion file is jacked as well, I get a GREAT alpha channel...NO color at all. This is so werid. I don't know if I need to reinstall or dump the pref files
HAHA OK ! I got it, wow what a retarded reason...well I had my playback options set to 30 frames, not play every frame. So the fluids were not caching when I played them back correctly.HAHA ok so that was one of those "I'm over worked and forgot the details" kinda of mindbender!Everythings great now, thanks for your help man.
