thats really quite nice, i like the lighting in there. what software did you use? im just curious.
i also like the composition of the scene, with the spanners in the foreground, it help break it up a little.
one suggestion though, try putting the same amount of effort as that into something thats a little more exciting than a tractor, a motor bike or something perhaps...but not spaceships!!!
id love to have a decent render of a motorbike that i could use as my wallpaper!!
just a thought

Looks pretty good. I see you've got some of the tractor's surfaces aged and dirty, I'd try to get some more dirt and chaos in the scene. It's almost too clean for a garage. I'd like to see some snap-on calendars on the wall. Overall though I still like it.

not bad, you need to work your specular roll off and eccentricity more , right now its too uniform, some spec maps would help.
It was all done in Maya 3.
Thanks for the input.
the tires are modeled nice , but the materials seem to even and clean . But good job all around.

I like the overall quality of the scene, as everything seems to be well modeled, but I have mixed feelings about the content.
You have this nice, antique, workhorse tractor, that looks like it has seen many days out on the farm, and then you have this clean, sterile, modern garage. This contrast seems a bit odd. What is the motivation? Why is this old tractor in a modern shop? Is this the garage of a hobbyist, or a farmer?
I guess it happens, but when I see that tractor I imagine it being stored in some dusty old barn, with straw and hay scattered about, a stained tarp draped over the engine compartment, and the key light coming from a flickering old bulb, or perhaps the light is coming through narrow slits in the wall of the barn itself.
I guess I am trying to say that the tractor just seems out of place, or out of its element.

You are very right. It does look out of place...you should see it in my garage. The garage is basically how mine looks and I was doing some work for a friend on the tractor.
I could call it 'restoration'....
Anyway thanks for the input....
