Hey there, I started another test, this time I am practicing drag, follow through an overlap. This is the first part of the test, in the second I am intending to animate the ball jumping across the screen.
Please take a look at my new work in progress and share your thoughts with me.
I want to invite you all to check out the latest test I started working on, well I started a couple, but this one is going to be some sort of an ongoing thing about pose. This is definitely one of things that need to be constantly pushed and explored in animation, so I figured, why not starting now? Every few days I am planning to upload a bunch of quick rough sketches I did on the way to work, it's amazing cause everyday I see people doing the same action, waiting for the tram, but each and every single one of them is at a different pose.
For new people who came across this thread and didn't have time to look through all my posts, I made a little progress reel where you can watch my development so far.
Today I had a little bit of time on my break so I started another test, this time I was trying to go for an angry or determined walk. I drew it with a stick figure since I didn't have much time to flash out a nice character.
After the first angry walk experiment, I learned that the energy of the walk wasn’t really angry enough. Some of the suggestions I was given were to make the character stomp a lot more to show the temper in the walk. Here is what I have got after the second pass.
