Fluid Cache Problem

I'm getting this error: Not able to access cache information for fluid 'fluid_284:shuttle_test2:fluidShape1'.

I tried what was suggested here:http://www.highend3d.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=224526

and I still get the same problem. I don't start the cache until frame 284 and that's the frame my fluid starts.

any ideas?

Did you import the fluid into another scene file? It looks liek it has nested namespaces which could be a problem
