Hi, I am working on a comet / meteor and I want to acheive the following:
it look more like a travelling explosion. It doesn't look like the tip of the comet is traveling fast enough because some of the trail black smoke covers it. I want the tip to glow without brighten up the trail of smoke and I tried with the incandenscene and glowing effect but I loose the dark smoke when I use glow or keep the dark smoke but tip is not bright enough to looking glowing. I am using temperature dynamics, density dynamics. So I tried to create two emitters: one for the bright glowing tip of the comet and the second emitter for the trail of black burning smoke.
I was looking at the comet.ma example as a ref, and try to mimic the emitters that they have: one for the bright tip and two for the trail of smoke. I set up the exact same parameters and still cannot get the glowing bright tip. One of the reason why I didn't want to use the comet.ma as a starting point is because it keep giving me this light blue smoke and the lack of rich smoke texture that I can't get it working.
