From baked fk to ik?

hi all,
i have a bunch of animations with all the movement baked fk to each frame, but i have to edit the legs for instance,
does anyone know how to convert the baked fk to ik?

it shouldn't be too hard to do. basically if you just attach an object to where you want your ik handle to be (or ik controller object), and then point constrain the ik handle to that object, then bake the animation on the ik handle. thats it. if you want, you could also simplify the curve of the ik handle, but then you'll start losing the exactness of the match...

Yeah youd loose the exactness at the gain of editability...

But to be hoest you could sum up a few curves and for a better controll without loosing accuracy look at the post realating to maxs list controller for ideas...

or do a averride with aswich node then edit only parts you need to change!

or any wierd combination of theese!
