Fujitsu CELSIUS Mobile H notebook

I am curious if anyone knows any information about the Fujitsu CELSIUS Mobile H notebook computer, other than what the web site offers. I want to get a workstation class notebook, and it is between this one, and the Dell M40. The Celsius blows it away with a 64 mb nvidia quadro and upgradable to a gig of ram, as well as cool features like the removable keyboard. However, I have not been able to find out how much it cost$$$, and if I can get it online and sent to the states. Does anyone know this or know of any web links that I can find this out???? Fujitsu unfortunately offers very little customer service to the states. Thanks.

Fujitsu doesn't bother responding to any requests about its info, how much or where to buy in North America. I and others have sent many many emails. They sent one back when the initial specs for it said that OGL only went up to 1024x768 and replied saying "you mix up two different machines". Anyway good luck getting any info from them, I too am considering the Mobile H and M40. dell won't relply about wether they will offer a 64mb quadro 2 go version either.
Anyone with any info would be appriciated.

I have info on the celsius H. It is not availible in North America, period, which is mabye why you've had trouble getting information.

Your best bet is to go on fujitsu-siemens' website and find a reseller in Germany to communicate with via e-mail. They can give you information, pricing, sales, etc...

The systems are completely configurable, but probably with less options than Dell Inspiron.

I'll be going to Germany in March, and will almost certainly purchase one. I've requested one configured with firewire, 1gig ram, and 48gig ATA HD. This will cost @ $4800 US.

I had the Celsius Mobile for a couple of days for testing. It sure looks incredible, and the bluetooth keyboard was a nice touch.

As far as the Quadro2Go goes, the OpenGL worked rather well even in the 1600*1200 resolution. There was one problem though... setting the application setting to Maya/StudioTools in the Detonator drivers caused Maya to crash every time just after it finished starting up. Leaving the drivers to default mode solved the problem, but then of course the hardware overlays didn't work (as if that mattered too much).

It rendered the Maya-testcenter scene in 2 minutes, 15 seconds.

3D-test results were (in fps) WF 12, Shd 5.5, Txt 5, Txt+lit 3.8, Shd+lit 3.8

The 3D test was run in 1600*1200 resolution, since the TFT panel natively supports that resolution.

In a nutshell, I didn't have enough time with the thing to really find possible problems that weren't self-evident, but the first impressions and the initial performance were awesome (considering it's a laptop).
