Fur Don't Move With Rmfm

Hi,

I tryed to render a grass in fur with renderman for maya
And fur fur are moving with the hair sytem attached.
Renderman don't render this movement, i can see the hairs curves moving but the fur stay in place.
That's a bug or an unsupported thing ?

I saw to that the deepshadows creat a really hudge map file, 18 Mo !!! more than the file.
Is there a way that it delate them when the frame is done, or decrease this.
I cannot have 3 Go files of temp files in same time that my pictures, i don't have an unlimited HDisk !

You cant use hair sytems to move fur in rfm. Just the oldstyle dynamic attractors that look like bones.

I hope they will fix it in the next release.
Is there some news about a futur release ?

Problem is that alis does not tell how their fur wroks exactly so what guys a t pixar have done ios theyve reverseeingeneered the way for works. And the way rendermans for works is better than mayas way.

Now revreseingeneering something even more complex takes time.

Thing si everythings frutrating unless you ahve all the tools the big boys have but you naver can have all the goodies no matter how much money you dish out. Theres just not enough money to buy it all. Even if there was goiverments would sue tyour ass of long before youd reach there since monepoly is illegal.
