what are the optimal (non default) settings for a
geforce2 mx running maya 3?
latest 1.2.4.1 drivers are installed.

Make sure you load up the "hardware overlay" or back buffer enabler ( win 2k only regestry update) for the GeForce2 card thats on this site. Your perfomance with Paint FX and Artisian should improve considerably.
You have to re-run this if you get new drivers, the drivers will reset this update.

First, upgrade to 12.60 drivers. My initial testing shows a speed improvement over the 12.40 driver set.
