Get Vertices From A Curve With Pymel?

get vertices from a curve with pymel?

I know for polygons i can do

for face in polygon.faces

but i have a curve and i wanna go through all vertices and apply some stuff in loop

i tried

for vert in curve.vertices stuff like that but does not work
