I've only played with the demo, but its very cool. I wish it had a mesh warper though - anyone know of a 3rd party plugin? Since the demo won't save workspaces, any chance that users could post workspaces here, so us demo'ers have something to play with?

Maybe one thing: is it just me, or is the renderer quite slow compared to...lets say, fusion or AE?
Aahm, about the mesh warper thing, as far as i know, you can use mostly all of the AE plugins with combustion.

Version 1 of Forge Freeform will supposedly work. (V.2 does not.)

Also since Combustion is integrated with 3DSMAX. You can use a Combustion project as material map in MAX and edit it live.

Yeah! it's a great program.
i agree the render is quite slow(however i'm using 512mb ram).
I'm looking for some nice tutorials,tips & tricks...anyone knows where an i get them??

I've done a few jobs so far with combustion all 2k stuff and man is it SLOW!! (read:anyone from discreet HELP!)I'm running a dual proc P2 400 with 750mb ram and a 100gig array and its still slow!! the renderer is slow but net rendering helps if you have a farm also for plugs most After effects and Photoshop plugs work you just have to try em to find out which ones. the other thing I noticed is the cineon converter is off color wise you really have to mess with it to get it right. anyway any others who have more info or need info contact me eric@wdigivideo.com

Yeah. I'm using a dual 800 processor and 2G ram and it is still slow. I believe it is in the configuration the problem. I tried it in a "slower" (dual 450 and 256k) machine and it worked perfectly. I cannot explain it.

Here's a basic question: Where do I look for decent Combustion plugins? I know After Effects plugins work, but I'm just wondering who's making new stuff for Combustion.

I'm running Combustion on a G4 with a gig of RAM and despite the great GUI, I find myself turning to After Effects for simple graphics compositions due to Combustion's increadibly low rendering speed. I know people here have been complaining, but you all seem to be NT users. So it's a cross-platform problem. What gives? Will we see improved speed soon? This slow speed cramps my style.

Hope things speed up soon.
