Getting local axis orientation

I can't manage to get the global orientation of an local axis for a joint. This idea would be to get it and reinject it into another.
In fact with xform -r -ro $rx $ry $rz $joint;
i can modify it but in relative.

when i try :
float $Tf[]= xform -q -ws -ra joint1;
xform -ws -ra $Tf[0] $Tf[1] $Tf[2] joint3;

the local axis of joint3 won't have the same orientation
than joint3 local axis.

Try the joint command. You can query the relative or absolute orientation of a joint.

In fact i don't want the joint orientation but his local rotate axis orientation. The idea is to orient this axe (with the orientation of others axis as reference for instance ) without
modifying the joint orientation.
