Good Tutorial Books for Newbie :)

Hi, as u can see I just registered for this forum. I'm really new to this 3d modelling/animation thing. Since i'm interested in going to industrial design, I'd really like to learn how to do models in XSI so I can do some CG work for my portfolio. Are there any really good self learning books you guys/gals can recommend?

Not books, but just as good! (OR better)

What Ed doesn't say is that on his site there are countless tutorials about all aspects of XSI. You can be sure to find modeling tutorials for beginners to intermediates.

I agree though the modelling lessons that 3dtutorial offers are awesome. Worth a look, considering their price and the 30-day refund garantee.
