Graph Editor Interactivity

I remember being able to adjust an animation curve in the graph editor and be able to see the affect on whatever I was animating in my viewport, now however for some reason I don't get that update anymore. It's only after I play back through the timeline I can see the change. Does anyone know how to switch this back and forth? Thanks,

You could check your settings in Window>Settings>Performance Settings

I believe the defaults are all checked off on the left

If that doesn't do anything then try creating new prefs for the program by quitting maya, moving the prefs folder to the desktop and relaunching maya.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\maya\8.5\prefs
