I am using Hair to create jellyfish tendrils with a light turbulence (about .02) and a negative gravity setting (-.06) to create a soft, floating animation. Playing back the simulation looks great, with the tendrils wafting up with just the right amount of turbulent spread. However when I rendered the scene the tendrils displayed hardly any movement, not even close to what's showing in the simulation. When I 'Create Cache' the situation is the same.
How to get my Render to look like the simulation? The playback simulation is not passing through to the computation at render time.

NOTE: I went back and cranked some of the parameters in the HairNode a bit (Gravity, Turbulence, lowered the Iterations) and got something closer to what I was looking for. However this does not solve the disparity btwn the Interactive Playback and what is calculating at the time of Render. Anybody else with this problem? Thanks..
