Please tell me how exactly that works. Here's some guide questions:-Is it a custom language, or does it give you choices like XSI scripting does?-Do the results compile into an .exe or what?-If I would want realtime interactive 3D, would I be coding a "plugin" for XSIviewer, or do .exes made with the SDK contain the viewer itself?-What do the client computers need? Are SDK results independent, or do they require XSIviewer or some library?-What access does the SDK provide to the computer? Can I use TCP/IP? Reserve a port to input data?
I would be very grateful for any information, and especially personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

Well, the PDF answered some of my questions, thank you. Now I know that I can use COM objects in Java to control XSI.
What I still need to know is how this can all relate to XSIviewer. When delivering a solution, it's expensive for the client to have to buy XSI just for playback.
Is there any info about controlling/extending XSIviewer using the SDK and COM objects somewhere?
There is an XSI Viewer SDK available.
Some information is given here .
