So i don't start another thread here is another problem :

I need to create a scriptJob from python and i look in the reference and the command does not exist.

So i tried stuff like

mel.scriptJob(ct="SomethingSelected","print 'some'")

But does not work

So how to create scriptJob from python guys?

And why isn't this working ?

def a():
print 'a'

scriptJob(ct="SomethingSelected",a)

I have to say I'm not a python-maya pro
but you are passing a function object that doesn't return anything to the function

a should return something, try put in return "a" or
if a is string, try a = "Value" then pass variable a to the function
