Arent mj polytools a bit redundtant in mayas after 2008-2009? Anybody elses opinion? I mean the only tols that to my memory dont allready exist built into maya in exactly the same way are:
Connect Vertices/Edges/Faces
3 / 5 Faces to Quad
Even here the later one is there but works a bit differently. The native implementation of many of those tools are faster and much more accessible than what the polytools tools ever were. Mainly because they have copied the workflow allmost directly form thsoe tools.
Oh and by the way:
but when I type it in the MEL command on both versions of maya it has an error
you could seriously have pasted the error for our benefit. Its much mroe productive that way.
