Help: Marquee Has Disappeared On All My Transform Tools!?

Hi all,

Has anyone had problems where their selection marquee doesn't show? This happens if I attempt to click and drag to select an area of verts, faces, edges, whatever using any of the usual transform tools (Select, Lasso, Move etc).

I thought it might be perhaps something to do with the graphics card and my new TFT displays. I have been using CRTs for agez with no problems and now I have these new flats ive lost my marquee! Weird...

I'm running Maya 2008 on winXP!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nah my issue is a bit more permanent than that unfortunately

...thanks for the suggestion though! I really don't want to buy another graphics card but it is looking more and more like the solution!

Reset your prefs, install different drivers (yes thats different as in not just the newest one just any other than you have now, newest is not equal to best)
