Hello,
My name is Andy Hainline, a beginning 3D animator from southern Indiana, and I need some help. I've got a "robot unicorn" that I've built in Maya 2015 (the student version), and am trying to build a driven-key rig to (eventually) animate it. I've got most everything done except for the neck bone, which is giving me fits. It's all turned around the wrong direction that it rotates at an angle instead of straight up and down. How do I fix this? How do I get it so that the neck joint rotates correctly? I know it's probably something simple that I'm doing (or didn't do) correctly when building the skeleton, but what? Thanks for any help in advance. I've included a screenshot, just so you can see what I'm talking about.
