"k" key is already bound to this. (has been forever by the way, it has 2 functions in combination with rmb it scrubs normally in combination with mmb it scrubs time WITHOUT updating the display. The second has very big uses in animating somewhat repetive tasks. Time line works the same way BTW). So essentially maya ships with this script. ![]()
So feel free to remap it to any key you feel more appropriate (but don't bind it to "t" because its one of Mayas most useful shortcuts).
