Highend3d shaders don't work

I downloaded some shaders form this site. I put the DSPreset files in the appropriate location with the other surface shaders. When I go to apply the shaders I search for them and find them in their location. When I click on them nothing happens. The other shaders work but the ones form highend 3d don't.

Is there something I need to do to add or install them. Any advice?

Try dragging and droping the shader onto your object instead.
