I removed the post but for now didn't ban the poster. He was clearly attempting to solicit subscribers for another industry related support forum which as gmask put it correctly "slimy". While I've helped others in the past over at 3DBuzz I found it no way in comparison to what is offered here at Highend. I guess they're losing subscribers and looking for new ways to attracts customers

Generally speaking there is no reason to advertise a forum in someone else's forum. Bad net manners. I've only made exceptions for users that have contributed heavily to our forums and have built some very targetted forum of their own; though even then i wonder why they dont just ask us to create a forum for them here which I am always willing to do.
