History and deletion of input objects

Hi I would like to know if there is a way prevent an input object from being deleted when history is deleted (manually removing the history is not an option as I want to prevent other people from deleting the data I need) as it is important that I still have access to the object, even if I can tell maya not to delete history on a particular object (in fact this would be preferable). But it is important that I am able to keep my data.

Write a warning in the documentation of your script: "don't delete this and this or else the program will not function properly"
