How do i change BG colour in xsi 4.0

how do i change BG colour in xsi 4.0,
not use 2d background colour, because the alpha will disappear,

i know that the BG colour could be change under explorer in xsi 3.5 , but it did not work in xsi 4

can somebody please help me
