How do I do camera Shake?

Ok here is what I'd like to do..I'd like to add camera shake to a composit and also beable to adjust it on the fly. One idea was film a dot and track it..sounds good but your unable to adjust it if needed. You could use your math operations but cant really controll it. In AE you can set 2 key frames and add wiggle to it and adjust the amp and frequency of it. So anyone have any suggestions?

there is sum wack-ass plug ins that do a shitty job.....dont use them.....just animate your camera in C*....I do it lots and am really good at getting realistic camera shakes........

take your camera...its hsould be set at -688.50 in the z axis....move it forward so you have room on the edges to play with, then just animate the camera moves and rotations, make sure your keys are spline and not linear......then just keep touching it up till it looks real.....

well thanks..thats what I"ve been doing in the past..just figured there might be an easier way to do it..I'll just continue to take the final render into AE and add the shake there.

It doesn't hurt to make a catalogue of good cam shakes. Copy and paste your keyframes to a Null in your "CamShake" workspace, and keep adding these shakey nulls until you have yourself a nice set.
