This might be a dumb/ simple question to answer... but here it is. I'm modeling a character and where I'm going to place joints I'm adding edge loops so they have more than just a few verts to grab on to (i.e. the ankle). But when I smooth the character using hotkey '3' the new edge loops have created a crease. Is there an easy way to fix this or do I just simpley keep messing with the verts until there is no crease?
This just occurs when your normals become hard. Either fix the normals by making them smooth or turn off recognizing hard edge normals when smooting (in smooth options).
Sounds a lot like the problem I'm having. though I'm modeling hard surface rather than character.
