I've just modelled my first head using soft 3.9.2 . I deformed a nurbs sphere, using the bottom pole point as the inside of the mouth and moving the points around that. I then cut the head in half and just modelled half the head and then used effect> symmetry to create the other half of the head and joining them together with merge surfaces. It looks really good for my first attempt and Im quite pleased. Texturing the damn thing is another matter.
