How Do I Paint My Model?

I was able to bring my model into Bodypaint (as an .obj) but I can't paint.
Does anyone know where I can find tutorials on Bodypaint?

Hi, sorry for the late answer, I was on vacation.

First of all I'd suggest you download the Bodypaint help system from the Maxon download section, if you for some reason haven't got it yet, and study it a bit - it will give you enough info for basic use of the program. The Help system is freely available.

Take a look at this tutorial for basic unwrapping and painting in Bodypaint.

Go to the BP & Texturing Tutorials section of the C4D Cafe and check if you can find tutorials that might be useful for you.

You can also find some BP tutorials starting from the pixel2life tutorial list.

Also check the BP tutorials list at the tutorio.com for some BP support basic tutorials.

You may also wish to visit the Maxon official support pages, the Cineversity - They offer great tutorials, but most of them are not free, unfortunately.

Hey, I brought in an obj file from Maya into BodyPaint 3D but I just need to know how to start using the brush tool....that's all. I've looked through many tutorials but it hasn't helped me.

Currently when I try to paint on my model the cursor is a circle with a slash through it which indicates that I cannot use the brush tool.

Anyone can give me a basic idea on how to fix this?
