How do people submit to the news section?

Got a buddy of mine who tryed to submit into the news section their production and website of Actionman in England

He was wondering if they didn't submit the format correct or anything becouse I guess they didn't get any reply. They submitted to the other sites , like CGtalk, 3dbuzz, total3d ect and it was posted. Also they got respounce on it.
I told them I really didn't know how our news section was working and what the submition requirments or steps were. Told him I'd try and find out.
So any of you guys who know tell me, I relly don;t know how that works anymore. Thanks

hey guys I didnt see that one. Right now its all submitted to a backend where I look to approve things. Im trying to push news into the buzz forum for now, until the new site is up. On the new site there is moderator control for everything. So I can assign everyone to have access to all the backend stuff like news, tutorial, gallery, files, etc.

the problem is right now 90% of the news are releases from companies that should be advertising, but they arent even willing to put up $100 for releases.

IF there is ever anything you guys want up just post it and put your name as submitter and I'll be sure to approve it.

The new site coding is heavy under way right now.

I agree the news section should NOT be for company product info if they are not paying for it.
Understandable things.
