Hi all,
I've been working on producing my own camera wriggle and have achieved satisfactory results, but much parameter adjusting was done through trial and error. I enabled camera shake, mapped noise to X and Y coordinates, then played with noise settings until finding desirable results. It got me wondering though, generally, how does noise or fractals translate to controlling movement of a single object, coordinate, etc? For example, is it done by somehow averaging the luminance or alpha value of the generator from frame to frame? I would like to know, because I cannot seem to draw a correlation between the "example" box of the generator pictured in the Attribute Editor and the movement of my camera on the specified axis. Any insight would shave much time off of my adjusting noise, fractal, or other generator parameters aimlessly. It would also help me pick the best generator for the desired effect in the first place. Thanks.
