It doesn't collide, the wake is a texture projection trick, on displacement. As such it can not produce anything that curves or sprays (the info can be used to add a additional a layer of trick for spray, but not curving). So its not a very prime candidate for shoreline effects especially since inorder to get it to do what you want youd pretty much need to write a significant portion of the code yourself.
After all there's a reason its called ocean and not shore. See all simulations have a border constraint, oceans is to make ocean. You need to do the shorelines somehow else, the less detail you need the less work it is. But if your camera is up close then forget the ocean shader.
