How do you remove embedded alphas in a image seq

Hi I'm new to combustion, so this might be very obvious, I have a tif sequence that has an embedded alpha channel which I can't seem to get rid of. I've tried to do it in footage controls in channels and alpha but it makes no difference. All I want is the original fill and not the alpha? Any idea's anyone?

if you have photoshop you can record this sequence of events and remove the alpha channels with a batch command depending on the # of frames it is a very short process.

1. open file and create a new action and hit record and select the alpha channel the delete and hit save the stop recording.
2. goto the file menu and select batch
3. set up your batch and your done.
