How do you save file illus_10 (.ai) for Combustion

I created my logo in illustrator 10(.ai) .then, I need to animate in Combustion 2 but can't imported. it show box " .....not reconize illustrator invertor. failure to communicate " Can you help me, please.

you need to save as illustrator7 file. combustion2 doesn't support any illustrator file above 7 (I believe)
