How does the -crop flag work when rendering with Render -r rman?

Hi RenderMan for Maya gurus. 

Does anyone know how the -crop flag works with Render -r rman? I'm trying to find out how to render just a portion of the image from the command line. If I type Render -r rman -h, I see the -crop flag, which takes floating point arguments. I've tried both pixel values and percentage values, and no matter what I do, it always renders the whole image. Has anyone worked with this? What am I doing wrong?

Hi Everyone

I found out the problem. RMS 3.0.0 seems to have a bug that causes the -crop flag to be ignored. The problem is fixed in RMS 3.0.1, available from Pixar. Make sure you uninstall 3.0.0 before you install 3.0.1 so that the environment variables and stuff all work correctly with the fixed version.
