How is the PNY Verto GeForce4 Ti 4600?

I'm thinking about getting this card since I can't afford a $500+ Quadro4. I just want to make sure this card will perform decently with Maya. Also, I wanted to know if all nvidia cards that come with the extra DVI port also come with an adapter so that you can hook up a vga monitor to it?

The card works decently and often they don`t come iwth adapters but one will probably cost you like $10-$15

It is pretty good but, When doing something like a plannar trim, don't plan on rotating around the object your trimming in the perspective view. It is super sluggish! And I haven't even tried out paint fx since I put it in....Other than that, it is pretty nice though.

What settings would you recommend? I have the same card, but its the 64meg 4200.

Why don't U look toward a FireGL 87008800?
It's good and lo priced.
The interactive speed also depend on your Cpu: I've an old GF2 with an XP2000+ and everything it's ok.

Well, honestly, I haven't really changed any of the default settings besides bumping up the resolution to 1280x1024.......Maybe playin around with some of them could fix the trim display problems. But I think it is because the gforce4 cards don't have the overlay plane capability or something like that. I read an article about that, but it was a LONG time ago.......

There is a setting in the OpenGL area that mentions 'planes' of some sort. I'll investigate tonight. Just got the latest 30.3 drivers last night.
