How To Connect A Broadcast Monitor To Shake Through The Graphic Card?

Hi, guys

I am doing my graduatation work, recently.

My question is : how can i connect a broadcast monitor ?( actually, i just wanna see the color after compositing through the TV monitor , even just from a normal tv monitor ). how to do it ?

1) I've got PCI Geforce 7600 GT (Dual DVI output ). Of course, one is connecting to the computer monitor, and still have one left. I want to connect this one to the normal TV monitor. But how ? Do i need a additional transfer cable ? or sht ?

2) Also, in shake, do i need to set up some pererences just in order to let the compositing shows up on the TV monitor ?

well i havent set up an ntsc monitor for shake in about 2 years...well maybe a year and a half, but i only did it once at my work place. we actually had a Blackmagic Designs Infinity Pro card (about $350) hooked up and it worked perfect with all final cut studio and shake. I dont know if any other cable types work for sending a visual signal out of shake. This is the only one I know of but you have to have an intel based mac pro to use it which is the only downfall.

If you have a mac pro, i suggest getting this card because it comes with the cables and everything. If you dont have the card, I dont see why you couldnt get it out. maybe try the DVI to composite video adaptor that apple sells?

there is a button under the viewer on mac version which is a monitor output.

Honestly i didn,t made it work when i tryed but i did,t try hard.
