Hi everybody,
I have some issues here.
It's about blendshapes.
I created a character, then I detached from his body to do easily blendshapes's head. After doing blendshapes I combined the head and the body and then did a merge between them.Ok? So now it's again a single mesh. Right? So far everything is fine.
Ok, the problem begins here; I need to add some new topology after doing all of this (combine, merge and blendshaping)There is a way to do this in maya 2009. Here it goes;
By selecting your base mesh first, you go to animation's menu,then under 'edit deformers' you go to blend shape's menu and select 'Bake Topology to Targets',Ok? And voila...doesn't works, In other circumstances would it.
Why?, well...I only know this maya's message:// Error: The -prePostDeformers flag is not supported with the following node(s) in the history: polyUnite1.
Then I check in my inputs and it shows the PolyUnite and PolyMergeVert nodes.
So all I have to do is delete this two inputs from my construction history without affecting my blendshape's input.
But the thing is I could't remove this.
Then Here is where I need some help.
If somebody knows about this issue, please let me know.
I repeat. How to delete PolyUnite and PolyMergeVert inputs without remove blendshape´s input.
Thanks
