How To Make A Glowing Ball/orb?

Hey I need to make a glowing orb/ball just like in the image. Does anyone know how I could approach this?

The orb needs to look pretty similar to the one in the link.

Render out mask and do radial blur in post propcess and comp it on top of refence footage.
