I'm looking for a way to create leggings, swimming suits, and other tight cloth parts...
Okay, I remember how it was done in older maya versions...
After you finished making your cloth, there was an option to make the cloth fit to the model.
Now that I'm working with ncloth in maya2008, this obtion seems to be missing. I looked for 3 days now, hoping to find good tutorials on this, but all I can find are some cheap tut's on animating an ncloth flag
I even went to the autodesk website, where i found this :
QUOTE
Use topology-independent constraints to fit a garment to the contours of a character; influence how the Maya nCloth settles on a character; control how the Maya nCloth moves during animation; or attach buttons, tear cloth, and merge different Maya nCloth objects.
Now i know it's possible, but how...
The option that seems to be the closest to what i'm looking for is "attract to matching mesh", but there are no options, and it makes really wierd things.
Hope someone can help me,
Wish you a sunny week end,
