How to manage with Z-pic?

I don't know how to manage with Z-pic to do that After Effects can understand this depth information. When I render an image in softimage3D, I tell to mental ray that also render a Z-pic image, so I will get two images: the original image and the Z-pic image. But I don't know how to use the Z-pic image. Any hints? Thanks...

Bonjour dejarde,

Just put the .zpic files in the same folder as the .pic file. After Effects will automatically recognize them as depth information for the sequence.

Just make sure that the zpic and it associated pic are in the same folder. As long as you do that, After Effects will automatically read the file.
