Hi there, i'm a student learning 3d modelling and i need some help. I'm currently following a model sculpted in zbrush and i need to remodel the whole thing from the ground up in Maya. I'm not looking to bring the model in zbrush to maya however.
The trouble i'm having is trying to model the blocked hair in Maya. I looked up tutorials but it all gave me hairs that were made with planes but i don't think using that method would give the same effect as blocking the hair. So should i go with modelling with planes or blocking it?
